Hey guys!

First great website! I thinks its great that the community is so passionate and has things like this. Its particularly helpful to us beginners. But enough hot air ;-) I need some help.
I'm keen for some bocking! but dont know where to start!
After a bit of reading etc. it appears that the general concensus is that Airrunners are a bit scummy, and not just in build quality. Personally what i've heard doesnt sit with me well. So i want to stay away from them - but they are about all thats going down here!!!!
Further to this I dont want to order any from Europe cause I'll be moving back there in about another 6 months or so!
But I wanna Boch now, so im after a decent beginners rig!

So question is are these ones okay -

http://www.powerizersaustralia.com/Original_Powerizers.html

The website seems okay and all the warranty issues i need are there 1 year on all parts but spring and footplate which has 6 months. So what do you guys think?Huh?

All help would be welcome, and sorry I know you probably have to go through this everytime a beginner in Oz want a decent setup!

Thank heaps,

Jimmy.......out!

well that site you linked to sells stilts that are made by the same company as air runners.  They're a better model than the air runner model though.

There aren't that many people here from Australia so i don't know what's available there.

Hey thanks for the reply!
yeah the only options we have here are skyrunners- that i understand to be not that great. Thats why im considering this place, turns out a guy from this forums run xtremeimportz and I think hes running powerizersaustralia and a few other powerizers(countries) as well!

But yeah I understand that they arent the best but for a beginner prob alright?

yes that's correct its owned by xtremeimportz, though the owner hasn't been on here in prolly a year.  And yeah they'll do fine for a beginner stilt.

yeah based on my research and just wanting a beginners rig id prob go for the poweriSers, but my only real options are skyrunners and poweriZers so I guess its the latter. Shame really.
The 7 league boots and 'skips sound like the goods though!

But yeah, if this place powerizersaustralia is from the same guy as xtremeimports then its prob legit right?
Then I guess the next thing is trying to convince the wife we have the money!  Cheesy

That price is pretty nice, 300 Australian dollars.  But beware that the weight charts are a little weird.  Rather than having a system that appears totally whimsical. the deal with the springs is that the number after the M is the maximum weight in kilograms they can handle.  For example, M70 is actually made for people 60-70kg.  They are designed in metric, not english, so I'm not sure why the vendor tried to use nice, round english measurements and ugly metric numbers instead of the other way around.

Ok Isaac, I've deal you something. I can have you some 7's deliver in Australia via sea freigh at no cost. The price is the regular one: 375 euros including preparing and packaging. It's a great deal for you I think.

NO, they're not selling Powerstrider.  Those "power-jumperz" look like Skyrunners, which actually suck more than Powerstriders.  White hooves and colored frames can only mean Skyrunners.

BBBB, you do know that Projumps, PoweriZers and PowerStriders are all the exact same stilts which are manufactured in exactly the same factory....

Isaac, this deal will be waiting for you for when you'll be ready. Just few things, you see that the price is in Euro, so don't forget to look up at the change price to save the maximum. Second, it's via sea freight so when you'll order, you can count 3 to 4 weeks before receiving your package and you have to pay before. I'll have you an official invoice and show you how to do an International payment if you need to, you'll pay directly at 7's and it's very safe. Finally, when the package arrive to Wagga Wagga, you'll receive a notice and will have to go pick it up at the harbour, I'll have the exact location when you'll be ordering. If there's customs fees or taxes in Australia, your country is gonna charge you them at the pick up, so ahve a few money for this. You can call up to inform yourself about it. To answer your question, the item you'll receive will be brand new and is protect by a full waranty of 1 year on everything but the spring and the hoof (6 month for those pieces).

So here we go, tell me when you're ready to buy and I'll help you in the process.
