hi everyone

i haven't really been active on this site but i could use some help lol

last year i brought some bocks off ebay lol just brought a cheap pair because i wanted to try them before i spent loads!!!!!

i brought them towards the end of the year where the weather was terrible so i only spent about two weeks on them the last time i used them i jumped off a ledge only about 2 foot high but i lost control in the air and landed really funny and cracked the metal on the bar that hold the hoof in place!!!

when i did it i thought bugger it i'll get them fixed next year because the weather was starting to get bad!!

anyway the sun was out today and i really fancied gettin them out but i forgot i broke them, i got them out and saw the crack again Sad i put them on anyway and had a quick go on them just walking and a slight jog and small jumps (dont dare do anything else)

anyway i really wanna get back into powerbocking so i wanna know where can i get the part from to replace what i stupidly broke???

oh and they say on them they're 'jumper units' as i said i brought a cheap version lol. they do work pretty well though so cant complain they set me back like £80  anyway they look the closest to me like the pro-jumps. dunno if every set has the same fitting parts and i havent got enough money to buy another set of bocks so any help where to get the bit from would be appreciated

cheers

It's a standard part and you should be able to use that part from most stilts. The part might differ some but not so much that they are moddable Wink

PJ being Pro-Jumps, a retailer.

You might want to PM "Naz", who is a member here for some purchasing assistance just to make sure it will fit your stilts.  Pretty sure it will.

DON'T BOCK ANY MORE WITH THAT Shocked
It will snap completely, damaging the end of the spring in the process.

Your bocks are poweriZers, right? A lot have had the problem of snapping along that bend, I think it's a major weak spot on their frames that needs fixing. No other brand has that bend in the hoof, and no other brand has snapped at that point as far as I am aware.

As Bill said, Grab a new hoof from Pro-Jump and you'll be ready to go Smiley

I am (sort) of the same. I decided to go for the cheap pair to test them out and see how i felt before i would go to the more expensive pair. Mine haven't snapped (yet), but im bracing myself for something exactly like this happening to me. I could tell they were a cheap pair as soon i looked at a form somewhere on here, which showed the hoof frame bending just before the bolts came. Looks like i just have to wait and be prepared!

The bend in the frame near the hoof is not damage -- it is the way the hoof frame on some some brands were intentionally designed.  Might break, might not.  Don't worry about it if you don't see an actual crack forming.

There was a short run of bocks with that type of foot.
There have been a redesigned foot sent out to replace it,
i dont think you will have to much of a problem getting a new one.
