My bindings turned up today:) thanx to slideboardstore.co.uk ... they had loads to choose from, and it did take me a while, but i picked these...

Aren't they lovely Grin after a quick look over them i thought "this is gonna be too easy"
and to be honest, it was:) here's how it went.
Firstly i just unscrewed the largest binding from the stomp plate, both sides ...

then ur left holding this...

then the front binding... the ladder side of the binding simply pushed out (downwards)
like so...note the fixed peg in the end:(

the ratchet side was a little more awkward, but no drama, i just pushed the binding down
revealing the little peg (fixed on the other side) but this side it just popped out Smiley
PEG IN

PEG OUT

do this to both, and then ur left with these:)

the next job was just taking the stock bindings off my 7's, just 4 phillips head bolts, with 8mm
nylock nuts on the other end, simple Smiley

and ur left with this...

then i came across a little problem:( the holes in the new bindings were too small to recieve
the spacers from the old bindings Sad

so it was off to the garage for me, i found a drill bit that seemed big enough for the job in hand
so i popped it in the drill and went for it:)

i had to be really careful when i drilled out the fixed peg, really didn't wanna slip and destroy
 my new bindings Smiley

when all the holes were drilled, with no misshaps:) i went back in the warm for a cuppa and
round 2 Smiley i then noticed that the holes were fractionally too small, so i dug out an old tool
i've had for years, don't know what its called? but it was just the job, and carefully reamed
out the holes till the spacers went in nice and tight Smiley

reaming Smiley

ta-da... all ready for fitting Smiley

that is just as simple as stripping the old ones off, i chose to add extra lil spring washers
just to prevent loosening, i had loads in the garage Smiley

screw everything back together really fast cos i was getting all excited, and
there it was...

i had to try it on Smiley

i did exactly the same for the other bock, in 5 mins flat:) and was left with these Smiley

they feel awesome on:) its the best

I agree with ET, make the pictures a bit smaller (800x600 maybe), other than that it's a great tutorial! Wink

photobucket should make the pics smaller by iteself.  But any kind of photo editer (even mspaint) can resize pictures to be smaller.

Great tutorial!!!   I'll have to get some bindings like that, but the only place that sells bindings at all has them for about the same price as new rizers...  which is stupid.  I'll have to find an American online supply.  Thanks for the instructional!!!

If you upload them to Imageshack, you can choose to have it resize them when you upload them Wink
