Very true Nick, there is no way "to fall".
I messed up on flips today and went down horizontal and just put my arms out without even thinking, hurt a bit but didn't damage anything too badly, I didn't even think about what I was doing, I just saw the mat coming up to meet me and put my arms out infront Lips Sealed

I'm thinking more of a misstep or landing off-kilter type of fall from your hoofs contacting the ground wrong.  One that provides a moment of conscious "Oh sh%t.. I'm going down."  Not a fall from full height or a lightning fast slip on leaves while running.

Fall recovery skills must become second nature so you do NOT have to think about them.  You just do.  That is why I teach them as after as I teach the actual tumbling and trampoline skills.

Hey everyone just an update.

I got a full cast on today ( i used to have just a cloth half cast) and it is white ( getting someone to paint it Wink)
Apparently all is healing up well. However the metal rod preventing my arm from rotating had to be left in  Undecided

I have after pictures now with the rod and metal plate in my arm, will post in gallery soon.

Permanent cast off today! Metal rod out!
Now for the slow, agonizing process that is rehab.
