Hey,

I wasn't sure where to put this Mods, so feel free to move it if its in the wrong spot....

I'm thinking about getting a back protector, the reason being is that I'm self employed, and if I injure myself I can't work, which would mean I wouldn't be able to pay the bills (had to get that in so I don't get abuse for being softie Wink )

So, can anyone recommend one? I've looked at some cycling ones, but they look really bulky and like they could restrict movement.  I'm sure I saw someone wearing one at the Doncaster meet when I came to do photos, but I can't remember for sure...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Im in the same boat as you.  I HAVE to be in one piece.  Got mine of Flea Bay for 45 bucks NEW.  Mine is a snowboarders vest with pads all over the place and a spine gaurd.  I got new padded shorts too for 28 I think.  Helmet was new too.  My elbow, knee, wrist gaurd were used skater gear

Yea me too, and yep i wear the body armour top most of the time, i have a large boys size, which makes it skin tight, this keeps it from bobing about when im jumping, its realy light, and i don't realize its on me after a while, it gives full uper body protection and i swear by it, you do need gloves though, and a helmet would keep your head safe, but i don't wear one as it gets in the way, but i should realy.

I wear a 661 upper body armour when i go mountain biking
(im not talking about over a few bumps, this stuff is harsh)
it has saved my life and i am not jokeing
if i wasnt wearing a helmet and body armour then i wouldnt be here.
i feel that it gives you a large amount of protecton.
