Well yesterday we were at the seafront and had all good comments, people saying "Oh those things are off the TV arnt they" which is a generalisation thats going to be the first thing said in the UK I reakon.

If you look at the pic of me jumping in the diary you can see how many people we had watching, more behind the camera too! This was in a beer garden which (to the US) is a backyard of a bar but with benches so when the weather is nice you can have your beer in the garden, thus the name!

But yeah, had a few asking how much and they do that "sssssssss" inhaling air between their teeth sound which is synomymous with "Goodness me, that is a lot of money!". Often heard after you've asked a mechanic "how much to fix my ride dawg?"!

Admittedly those are a mates pair, I tried them to see how his springs felt. I've had a wicked idea for my wraps though whilst we were out this afternoon, will reveal more later! ooooh the suspense!

I just got back from bouncing around Hereford city centre and its made me realise a few things:

1) Bocking in the sun is unbelievably tiring

2) The usual rection is "why?" from the ladies (to which you shouldnt answer "coz of the view you get from up here", one girl covered her chest and walked off Embarrassed)and "awesome!" from the lads

3) Cyclists get annoyed when you overtake them

4) Signposts are WAY too low

5) My Powerisers are still the greatest purchase i have ever made  Grin

Think of how funny it would be, to bock with a very large panama hat... or some other HUGE hat! Smiley  I can't picture that really being that much of an advantage.

I think I might order a hydration kit, and cooling system for my summer bocking.

Something like a CamelBak, in conjunction with a vapor wick of sorts.

Me and my mate Luke , yeah 2 Lukes, it works! We had a great audience this evening!

Down the seafront again but this time beachside. Warmed up on the grass then took it to the street!

Picture this, to my left is an 8ft drop c/o sea wall behind 3ft barriers, to my right a cycle path then a busy road (so lots of kerbs) but I had a decent 8ft to walk with between each danger so that was cool. From passing Joggers we got smiles (maybe "whatever next!?" in mind) and from passing cars a few beeps and smiles from rubberneckers. Dog walkers are fun! The dog will either bail or they'll try to jump up, silly things!

Yeah good fun tonight!

Gotta say we had a bit of a lame audience today. The same car did 3 laps to yell abuse, slow night eh lads?

Had one very keen 8 yr old enquiring in a different language, no idea!

I got mine. Actually got home from collage (im 21 why am i at college...) with the delivery van in the drive.

Off topic but why is everthing that arrives in a delivery van a bit damp on the bottom.. its been dry all week. Do they hose out the vans? or to people order water...

Anyway, after a few hours of walking/jumping/stumbling about the garden i got bored and wandered onto the street... and aparently became a salesman.

a woman in a car actally stopped and got a pen and paper and started quizing me...

lots of little kids stared and pointed.

Ive recently had a VERY LARGE audience in Bristol City Centre..

Me and my friend Ben after getting his pair for christmas (Had to were them in before we stored them) decided to go ice skating in bristol and to get our new ice skates heat moulded. but we took the risers with us.

Got to the city and relised that we had to wait 4 Hours! befor the next ice skating session was on.. Perfect Cheesy

We had time to waist so we took the risers to the city centre (around the water fountain part if anyone has been there) and had a right laugh running up and down and seeing people gawk at us from Every angle..

it was rush our in the middle of bristol.. so it seemed like the world was watching but we just didnt care, had a great time, and answered alot of people asking the same question over and over and over again!!

1) what are they
2) were did you get them
3) How Much were they

got frustrating but it was fine  Smiley

i suggest to any one to if they can meet up with others and go around the centres of your citys.. much more fun if its morte than yourself.  Tongue

I can't help but wonder if that would work. If the unimaginable happened, you were in an bad car accident or something and you had to have both your legs amputated below the knee. Could you get your powerisers adapted so you could wear them all the time? I know I would prefer that to a wheelchair.
