Travis, did you just say you paid $200 for Powerisers?

Also, I'm interested to know if anyone else has had problem with 'riZers like that guy on sprungg has?

-Kender
Whoa, whoa whoa!!!
Y'all jump to crazy conclusions soooo quickly!  Kender, i paid 200.00 for a pair of KOREAN POWERISERS!!  Yes, my site is a bit lame at the moment, but here in the states we have lame vendors and, under debate, lame consumers!!  However, behind the scenes i have been diligent to RESEARCH my inept buying methodology and find out EXACTLY what the real deal is.   I have exchanged numerous emails with Steve Lim at the Poweriser manufacturing plant and now disclose his full email here:
Dear Mr. Brackey,

We deeply thank you for your concern about our product.

Poweriser is jumping unit of next generation's extreme sports, and ultimate exercising product. The ability to jump 6 feet(2 meters) in the air and run up to 9 feet with incredible speed. Everyone can enjoy incredible heights and speed with our Poweriser, available in adult and kids model. There are 2 type for adult and kids. According to one's weight, Poweriser for adult is divided 3 types(PR-5070, 7090, 90120). A normal price is $170 for adult and $90 for kids, of course contract price can be negotiated depending on quantity.  Our pricing is very simple. It will be normal price for 1 or 2 20ft containers, and if more at once we can make a negotiation case by case.

At present, we have representatives and distributors in about 10 countries in the world. They were an exclusive importer and wholesaler in their territories. We protect their territory and supply the best quality product and support their marketing to win together. In fact, as we have no agent currently in your country & region, we have searched our main powerful distributor from there. We are being contacted from some of dealer in your territory, however, we want to consider who will our real distributor be there. Under these circumstances, it's very lucky for us to be contacted from you and make a business relationship. If you don't mind, we would like to know some details about your company for reply. (Company profile, items, history, and contact full detail...)

Our standard of Exclusivity is as follows...

1. MOQ : 250 pairs a shipment & annual quantity fixed

2. Payment : T/T in advance or Irrevocable L/C at sight

3. Sharing the cost and participating in own country's Exhibition if we are there

Thanks for your reply and concern for our product and business.

We have very important things to have to be considered before contract.

1. Patent Holder

There is a German original patent holder of Poweriser. He has this patent in 6 countries, US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. Due to that, you have to pay some patent fee by regular rate from your sales amount. Of course we decide our distributor among the candidates, however, you should agree to his offer for their royalty fee and contract with him.

Mr. Alexander Boeck  ALAN Sportartikel GmbH  boeck@powerskip.de

2. Minimum Quantity

We cannot choose our powerful distributor in some territory without consideration of quantity, of course. We cannot get any of idea about your possibility or marketing power from your side at the fist time. Thus, we cannot help choosing with his expectation or trust of annual quantity of our Poweriser.

Several Things...

We have moved our factory out of Korea into Philippines already. Our purpose of this moving is to upgrade of capacity and save our raw price.

The Chinese copy product is very danger to ride because their springs are broken easily. They have no method to guarantee their fault and accident when it occurs.

If you need samples, please check our bank information for T/T. We will send you your sample order as soon as you make a T/T payment. We send the urgent goods of small quantity via EMS(same as DHL, Fedex). It takes about 5 days at most after sending. Delivery charge to your door is about $200 per packages.

So there ya go.  This is all the information i have concerning Korean powerisers at the moment.  And, yes, i wired them 200.00 and received my powerisers 4 days ago.  i was looking into investing 60,000 USD and purchasing shipping containers of powerisers, but with the impending lawsuits, customer gripes and product jostling, opted out.  In fact, i even  contacted Boeck in Germany to validate the 6.4% patent royalty demanded from the RETAIL price of each vendors sale of stilts...furthermore, i thought i'd be nifty-nick and order a pair from tradekey.com.  Yes, i received the stilts and paid, yes actually paid, 175.00 laid to my door from china.  The stilts will be pictured on my site within the week and i will update my site.  People claim no research has been done in my representation on www.sprrung.com....i'll agree, i haven't kept day to day journalistic upkeep, but i'm learning very quickly here that rumor and presumption rule.  I was possibly pursuing territorial exclusivity for the USA with poweriser, but rest assured, this is not a viable or wise investment.  People, look on alibaba or tradekey .com....you can buy chinese knockoffs for 115.00!!!   pay airfreight and they are 175.00 usd.....DO YOUR RESEARCH!!

Travis, I'm interested to know how your direct order goes, pictures to your website?  Box and 'risers and all?

As for "Korean powerisers"  I'm not sure what you mean...

As far as I know from this forum and other websites, there's three "main" sources of spring-stilts.

Powerskip (German) original

Poweriser (Korean)

PoweriZer/Flying Jumper (Chinese)

'skips are mucho espensive, and everyone on these forums says 'risers and 'riZers are so nearly the same as to be indistinguishable...

I guess I've lost my point, I'm just in some shock and awe about the price you paid for your 'risers...

Kender, he got that price because he told the manufacturer that he was an online store looking to starts selling powerisers, so he bought a sample at whole sale direct from the factory.  You could do it yourself if you don't mind lying to the manufacturer.  I'll agree that travis has done more research than his site lead me to believe, but I don't know why he's bashing PoweriZers. I guess he's just re-iterating what the people that make Powerisers told him.  I've got riZers and love them, but none of the products are perfect.  If you want that you'll have to spend the money and get powerskips or velocity stilts.
