Hi guys, I'm new to this sport so I've just been looking around the forum trying to get a bit of info. I need to buy a couple of pairs of stilts in the future for some product promotions.

I'm really interested MK to see that the inventor Mr Boeck has recommended your 7Leagues as the best stilts out!!
Quote
Before my dad became a distributor of the 7's boots, he actually had the pleasure of speaking to Alexander Boeck, and he told my dad that the 7meilenstiefel boots (7's) were the best stilts out!

Thats good info for me - Thanks guys Cheesy

Well I don't really know if its worth paying the extra or not! But if MK and his dads company speak to Mr Boeck and as he says the inventor says there the best!

What does anyone else think. Huh

Hi guys im new to, so the first thing i did was email the sevens guy this is what he said.
Dear Tim

Thank you for your email and interest in 7-league boots. I have some answers to your questions listed below and I hope you find our comments helpful.

1. Correct model choice of 7 Leagues

With a body weight of 70KG your best choice will be T-Rex boots. The T Rex spring is very powerful and will give an excellent energy return when you learn how to use the stilts.

2. How can I get the big jumps?

The answer to this question is you must have a combination of excellent technique and skill on the jumping stilts combined with a good quality stilt that is durable and will return the energy that you put in. Swebounce are professional circus performers who have been using jumping stilts for many years and they also use mainly German Power Skip jumping stilts.

You need to have good body strength and be athletic so that you can fully activate the jumping spring and then have the jumping technique so that you can get the maximum height.

3. Brand Confusion

Most of the acrobatic videos that you see on You Tube are actually being performed using either German Power skips or American Velocity stilts (Both these brands are excellent professional quality but are also very expensive!). Many of the lower end manufacturers copy and use these videos trying to pass them off as there own. Some even state that there stilts are same, this is simply not true.

4. Where do 7 League boots fit in and why are they differant

We are the most expensive stilt manufacturer of the affordable brands and our product is engineered in Austria. We have many of the high end design features, but at a more affordable price! In recent independant performance tests carried out in Germany 7-League boots were the only affordable brand of stilts that to come close to the performance of the Power Skip. The design features that are built into our stilts include:
a. Needle bearings fitted to all moving parts of the stilts - Giving smoother operation and more jumping energy!
b. A completely new spring design that uses a stronger fibre glass spring compound that is also very durable, our spring protective covering is the thickest by far of all the differant brands.
c. A new frame design using hardened fittings and additional bracing to make the stilts feel more stable.
d. A new hard wearing rubber foot that utelises a rubber compound associated with racing tyres, very hard wearing 25% larger than our competitors.
e. Our knee brace is very strong with double studding of the velcro brace, our materials are also much stronger and more durable.

If you require any further information then please feel free to call or email at any time.

Regards

Richard Todd
