OK, I'll try and keep in mind that FL is a lot better than it used to be.  I guess I have a bone to pick with them because the Chinese dealer companies are always stealing pictures and videos, and few things anger me more than that.

But on the price thing, 365 pounds is still off the wall. even counting for things being more expensive in the UK  This has very little to do with the original question, I'd just like to assert that I'm at least right on that point.

Anyway, I hope that you have a blast with those, I doubt you will be unsatisfied with your choices or find your money to be poorly spent, and I hope you find this forum to be very useful!

frank the prices he was quoting was for 1 pair of adult bocks and 2 pair of kids bocks, not just one pair of bocks.

1 pair of adult PJ's is 135pounds ~= $270

@ Becky, Chocl8 and Sprog, thanks for your comments, much appreciated Smiley

You can't brush all dealers with the same brush, just because you have a bone to pick with a few companies that sell the same product, that’s a very childish attitude to have. If you are giving an opinion it needs to be unbiased and without prejudice.

Pro-Jump have never used a photo without permission, I’ve been working for the company for over a year now and deal with the websites and marketing and I always ask permission before any images are used.

But on the price thing, 365 pounds is still off the wall. even counting for things being more expensive in the UK  This has very little to do with the original question, I'd just like to assert that I'm at least right on that point.

The price of £365 would have brought him 1 pair of Adult Pro-Jumps and 2 pairs or child Pro-Jumps (£135+ £115 + £115)

Oh, OK then XS, I understand now.

And Pro-Jump, I was admitting that my opinion had been biased, you don't have to call me childish.

Sorry if i confused the issue with the prices. I should have specified what i meant more clearly.

ProJump,
i can't wait to get these now. I bet i ordered to late in the day for nextday delivery, but Saturday is not far away.
I am more exited than the kids, and i can feel the adrenalin pumping in anticipation.   Tongue
As you have already read, i decided to share the wealth so to speak. I will be checking you site for alternative colours for the other daughter.
This way we will also get a chance to see if they both enjoy it before commiting any more of the hard earned.

Will be sure to take pics of our progress, and keep you all posted.

Dont worry bout it, quite easy for misunderstandings to happen on forums!

you already got the bocking bug zipp, lets hope your daughters do too! looking forward to seeing the photos that you take!
make sure you/your kids have wrist guards on, and preferably knee pads too!

Pro-jump is an UK company and have asked permission for every photo they use (well they have always asked me!!)
The Chinese company that took all the photos, took them down upon requests from me and from Pro-jump.
Any company that uses photos from here without permission has to face me  Grin

Hey Zipp,
If you ordered your Pro-Jump stilts late on Thusday and they left the warehouse on Friday then the free next working day delivery would mean you would recieve them on Monday, as our couriers don't count the weekends as working days! I bet it feel's like torture waiting for them to arrive.. sorry!

Cheers for the heads up projump. I was kinda thinking that was the case. Looks like the same situation from the other company too......ah well, i will just have to chill myself out a bit.

Right onto the trampoline for some practice, before work.

After spending the weekend on the trampoline, and visualising all the cool jumps to pull off, my poweriSer Pro 2008 have just arrived from SkateHut.
I sat on the kitchen worktop to strap them on and then stood up.....boy....., they have you standing much higher than i expected, and i feel like Bambi taking my first steps. Any ideas about running, jumping and flipping have quickly evaporated, and are replaced by a desire to be able to walk confidently. Smiley

Not had time to do much, as the afternoon shift was calling. Embarrassed

What i did notice, was that the spring was covered in a tight fitting black sheath, only exposed at each extremity where it fastens with the 2 bolts. There was also a thicker rubber sheath on top of that, which covered just over 2/3rds of the length of the spring (predominantly the bottom).
So i guess the manufacturers are listening to you guys, and implimenting your ideas on new releases.
I will put the 2 innertubes i bought in my cycle repair kit where they belong, as all that is left for me to do, is tape it up in a colour of my choice.

I have applied griptape to the footplates. Not sure if this was necessary as the bindings are pretty snug, but i had some laying about.

I have had a go at making some new rubber feet that just glue onto the existing. I will post some pix later and keep you posted as to how they hold up.

The wife has just called to say that the kids projumps have just arrived too, so we should be all set to learn together.

by the way:

The 7league S-Rex type X is not any stronger than any other 90-120 spring.
this is imho wrong, i have tested the latest PR90/120 the S-Rex R and X type, belive me there is a difference. the X type S-Rex is deffo harder/ than the others.
