My time working with people at the NSA serves me well, this time I found the location of the picture using only the picture as a guide.
Google Maps Location of Above Picture

It looks pretty good, I just hope there is not water in the fountain, as the parks department shows it a a good place to swim.

OMG!!!  That looks like the perfect bocking training area!!  Man, I'd love to build that my backyard.  But definitely a fountain.  Water valves, giant kitchen faucets, and spillways.  Figure on never being able to bock this in the summer -- but maybe spring and fall when it is dry.  Very cool find XS.

yes my reading tells me they put about a foot of water in in it in the summer, but i hope its not filled up yet, cause it looks amazing.  Well after a little more research, I still don't know what date the water gets turned on, but it seems they turn off the water every night around 5, at least they did 2 years ago, parkour guys did their research, and apparently the spot is lit at night (might have to have some evening sessions over the summer).  I'm in the process of raiding parkour forums for their spots, if i find anything else awesome i'll let you know, but i got real lucky with this one as it was on the first page that came up on a search of "boston parkour"

and here's my secret for finding it, don't know why i hadn't thought of this before, but search youtube for parkour/free running videos of cities you want to bock, people have already found the cool places, just gotta find what they've done.

Right so looking at things for saturday my weather forcast says maybe rain again  Embarrassed so we'll have to call this one as it goes but if it stays dry, meet outside the park st T station at noon, we'll bock around there till everybody shows up and we're bored of the common's lack of terrain, then head up to govt center, hopefully not get kicked out and bock there till we're bored of its terrain, and then move on to the new spot to round out the day.  Here's hoping it stays dry on sat.

Well, tommorrow the tenth isnt looking good as far as a meet. It hasnt been completely ruled out though. I'm going to be tracking it tonight and see whats going on, we all know how fast New Englands weather can change, tommorrow may even be sunny with 80, you never know. But if its all rainy, then no, if sunny and nice, then for sure. I think we'll have our final answer tommorrow morning.
