So the air mattress by itself is completely useless.  It did give me a false sense of security which was very helpful.

Great work man, keep it up! I looks like you might need to get more height and less distance to me...

Thanks!  I always seem to lose my bounce when going for something, whether it's over an obstacle or some trick that requires height.

Thats great, well done!

As Bouncer_Kape said, try to jump up and flip rather than forward and flip it will make you a lot more likley to land it and will look a lot neater as well.

Very nice man. I knew you would get them super quick. Good thing i suggested you video tape it. Now all we have to do is figure out a way to secure the matress so you can keep practicing. The only way I've thought up it get a big peice of wood, rough it up so that the matress cant slide on it and then jump on that.

Yeah I've had a trampoline when I lived at home.  As soon as I put bocks on it threw me for a loop when I first starting trying flips.  The extra weight is just takes that much more effort.  I had about 4 gym sessions practicing the front flips so this isn't the first time I've tried em. it's more like the 200th flip attempt and 4th time I've landed it.  1st one on youtube (so it's official now) and 1st go with my skip springs.

The top of the matress has this felt stuff on it.  I wounder if I turned upside down if it would hold better.

It was really comfy when I rolled on it but since never landing on the matress I'm really ok with practicing on the grass now.  It was solid but there's no scrapes or bruises.  And all those gyms that turned me down! HAHA SUck it! well untill I gotta learn the back tuck.   Sad

I'll keep workin on that height, thanks guys.

I do front flips on the ground like that with speed but on bocks you need height because of the extra weight  you will get it
good job to get it on camera

Just an update.  My air matress was inflated for about a week before I tried jumping onto it.  It lost a little bit of air since then. it was about 80- 90% filled at the time of the video.  Since the day I jumped on it it's lost about 50% of it's air so it's down to 30ish%.  So I definatly did some damage to it over the last 2 days.  I'm sure it'll still fuction as a matress if filled before sleeping on.

Watching your own video's helps pick up on all those little things.  I noticed in this video I'm hardly compressing my springs.  maybe 50-70%???  I have a lot more potential to tap.

I also re-agrivated my back since that other time.   Not nearly as bad but definatly agrivating.  I'm gunna take a couple solid weeks off and see a different doctor.
