If you're extreme, and someone asks you what they are, you could call them "flippers", then go bounding off throwing in a flip or two. My friend who has seen them calls them "Yump Boots" (like a person with a strong  European accent pronouncing "j" might sound // also depends on where from Europe you're from I guess).
