In my site (RiserRaptors of Plymouth) i have started off a feature which allows people to 'submit' pictures of a public place were they like to powerisise along with a little review..

the idea is that these areas are listed in an Article and people can view the names and location pic of these places and then after mabie visiting them rate what they think in the forum with there own little review to add to the list of reviews with that set of pics in the article...

i thought of sharing this with you lot.. to ask your opinion of how good of an idea it is really and to here your comments..

link to the article  here

That sounds like a really good idea, it'll be really great for suggesting places to meetup!

Brill idea kiola, I'm sure these local site will proove really useful in the future and something like this will invite people to share their little powerising home or spot potential ideal areas.

Nice idea, I like that.
I've been thinking about remaking parts of PPages, and improving it. But in order to set about a big remake of it I feel I need to come up with a sufficient number of new ideas in order to justify the trouble/stress of remaking it all. So I wonder if anyone has any small ideas like this which would be good for the site?
I was thinking of perhaps a point system, where you can gain points by referring others to the site (by creating links along the lines of www.PoweriserPages.com/?referer=Matt ), by being awarded points by others for good posts on the forum, by being awarded points for uploading good photos and things like that. Then there could be a league table based on the points.
So if anyone has any other ideas, then perhaps using this thread to suggest them would be a good idea.
Thanking you!

Since the number of topics have increased very much. Some are good, some are not. Some are well written topics about some area of bocking. I was thinking of in some way make them more easy to find, like some kind of good-topics-page. How topics end up there? we can maybe have votes, or when a sufficient number of people with a certain rank have said so about the topic. Or if we have a document with criterias that has to be fulfilled. Well, regardless, I think a good tutorial section should be made, there are enough knowledge here for that;)

well, I think the site works fine now. You just need some adjustments, some new addons and new sections, but the concept works fine;)

Yea.. a few adjustments to make all those topics easier to navigate around..

what tends to happen is that new ppl only look on the first page and see that there question isnt answerd so they open a new thread... this could mean because that questionwas answered on a page of threads that the new user cant be bothered to look through..
