I wasn't sure where else to put this...so, sorry if this the first question in the wrong spot.

1. I was out powerising for a few hours in the local park, walking for maybe a few miles, I'm not sure. My knee hurt a little, where the black knee-strap was, so, when I got home, I took it off and had a look. A bit of my skin had come off, nothing big, but still, it hurt if anything touched it.

I was wondering if anyone could adivse me on what type of shin guard would be a good quality one, or if there is anything else I can do to stop this...

2. My right leg is stronger than my left (or, I think it is, I feel the spring compressing a little more on that one, even when I swap the powerisers around), does anyone know of anything that can be done, aside from buying a higher weight poweriser?

Thanks.
//Alex.

re  leg rubbing - ill assume you were wearing shorts.  You could buy some athletic knee supports ans wear them ( i do)  or just slip some padding between strap and leg/

Re strongr leg  dont worry yet  I dont thinkit will be a prob  give it another month  then come back maybe

About the skin thing, i had the same thing, i took the black and red rope thing that came with them and tied my leg to knee bar so it wouldnt move around at all, the back strap really sucks on Zers, you gain a good bit of control doing as well.

As far as the different leg strengths, just swap em every time you use em, best you can do man...

The strap burn is solved by wearing knee pads that slip on like a sock.  That way, the strap won't be in contact with your skin.

yup, calg cuffs should work aswell...but the cheapest method is just putting some sort of padding in between (be it padding or a knee pad)

Fair enough about the different leg strength thingies.

But I don't wear shorts when I powerize, or, I haven't yet worn shorts. But last time I did it, I wore some knee support thingie (along with rolled up tissues for extra padding) and it worked. I'm probably going to get some shin guards though. ^^;

Cannibalize a sock?  Cut it up, wrap it around the strap, attach somehow.  Normal white sock material is a very comfortable material, I've cannibalized socks for a number of things that chafe.

Might be useful for going over the Velcro on Up-Wing cuffs which the uncomfortable and useless magnets go on; just thinking.

I dont know if this would help but to secure your leg more try to get some pinhead straps.

Look here

don't think pin makes them anymore, so you'd have to make them yourself, but there are many kinds of extra knee bar straps that help minmize movement

Made mine out of two dog collars and a single cat collar for each stilt.  All with plastic pop buckles like Pin's.  Got collars from the dollar store.
