I'm a UK resident so I check streetgadgets.com for the prices of poweriSers and am thinking of buying. I've got the idea from other peoples topics that 'Zers arn't the way to go so I'll buy Sers. All streetgadgets sells now are the 2008 model. Are these anymore expensive than the previous model (I assume they were 2007)?

LOL looking at street gadget's pricing they charge 198 pounds for 5070's, 200 for 7090's and 202 for 90120's, where'd they come up with the crazy idea that the small spring diff actually makes a diff in price.

but as for the dif between the 08 model and poweriser classic (old model)  the new ones cost 200 and the old cost like 170 or something, don't remember, but the diff is definitely worth the upgrades of the advanced model

I'm only going to use them casually, so even based on that it's worth spending the extra £30. If you know any better dealers let me know =]

How heavy are you in kg?
If your near the top off the weight range it might be worth getting the next set up.

Older model are 2005/2006. PR2008's are also called PR2007's and poweriSer Advanced, depending on country. They were released in 2007 (hence the PR2007 name) but did not reach the UK until 2008, so are called PR2008's here Smiley

There is also no such thing as poweriZers anymore, if you're on a budget Pro-Jump stilts are as good as the 2006/Classic PoweriSers.

Yeah, it appears poweriSers require a lot more energy input per bounce than other springs, they aren't very efficient on the power input/output levels...

In dollars, the 2008 price is about 480 and the classic model is 340 or so.  That's just for comparison.
